To the tournament field:
Due to the amount of rainfall received, Winnetka GC will very likely be unplayable for the rest of the weekend. The Winnetka staff members do not feel confident that they will be able to get the course dry and available for play with all of the rain received thus far and the expected amounts the rest of the day. Tomorrow’s round has also been cancelled.
While it is unfortunate we are not able to play this weekend, we will be rescheduling Fall Junior Elite #3 to next weekend and those dates are October 21st & 22nd. We understand that this may come as an inconvenience for some people, but we would like to try and complete our last event of the season in its entirety and Winnetka has been kind enough to allow us to reschedule. Please respond to this email by MONDAY, OCTOBER 16TH AT 5:00 PM. If you are unable to play, we will be happy to give you a full credit back into your account. We will be sending out new pairings Tuesday, so please let us know if you are unable to play. If you plan to play next weekend, you do not need to respond.
For those that are also signed up for the MAJGT Open at Thunderhawk next weekend, please reply to this email letting us know which event you would like to stay in and we will give you a full credit for the other. Thank you again for your patience and we look forward to seeing everyone next weekend!
