AURORA, Ill. –The Orchard Valley Open is a 36-hole, Stroke Play competition that will take place April 21-22, at Orchard Valley GC in Aurora, Illinois. The event features junior golfers ages 12-18 from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin, with 7 of the players coming from Aurora and North Aurora.

The Boys Division will play the par 72 Orchard Valley GC from 6,746 yards, while the Girls Division will play from 5,862 yards. This is a Nationally Recognized event, meaning scores will be submitted to Junior Golf Scoreboard, and players will have the opportunity to earn AJGA PBE Stars.

The field features five sibling duos; as well as, the 2018 Sanctuary Open Girls Division winner, Jo Baranczyk of Suamico, Wis. Also in the field are six of the members of the 2017 MAJGT All-Midwest Team.

Orchard Valley GC has earned a four and half star rating from Golf Magazine and was voted No. 6 on the Top Illinois Public Golf Courses.

This event does feature a first-round shotgun start at 8 a.m. CST.
