Reminder
All players should be keeping score for everyone in their group, not just themselves and the person whose card they have! Please make sure you are keeping score for all 3 players in the group so there is less confusion at scoring when going over scores. This will also help make sure everyone is giving the correct score they got on each hole.
Notable Performances
We had 2 separate hole in one’s in the past two weeks! At YDP 18 Hole Event #14 at Lake Bluff, Niklas Meyer (Winnetka, IL) carded a hole in one on the 16th hole! He used a 7 iron from 125 yards away. Our other hole in one came at YDP 9 Hole Event #17 at Cantigny Youth Links from Sam Uutala (Barrington, IL). Sam aced the 6th hole from 100 yards away with a pitching wedge! Congratulations to Niklas and Sam!
Upcoming Events
The Player of the Year event will take place on August 12th and 13th at Randall Oaks GC. Next week will be the final 4 point awarding events of the season. Player of the Year invites will go out on August 9th! Make sure to be on the lookout for your invite if you’ve qualified!
