I was so thrilled to get the interview when I spoke to the entire team, I could not have imagined a better summer internship. Everyone’s energy and passion were contagious. I am new to working in the golf industry, but using my love for operations, I cannot wait to watch these individuals thrive and be a small part of their success.

Why the IJGA Internship: I am interested in this internship because growing up, IJGA meant a lot to me and helped me become a college golfer. I loved playing in IJGA tournaments and I want to help other junior golfers develop their game through IJGA. I also want to learn more about what it’s like to run a golf tournament and hope to inspire other junior golfers.

The internship gives me a great opportunity to expand the game and develop a new generation of golfers. The game of golf has done so much for me and taught me so many valuable lessons and because of that, I want to provide chances for juniors to experience the same.

Why the IJGA Internship: I chose this internship because I love the game of golf! I play in college and have enjoyed playing in summer tournaments with the IJGA as I grew in the sport, so this internship stuck out to me. My dream job in the future is with the LPGA increasing the visibility of women playing the sport of golf. So this internship gives me the extra knowledge I can’t receive when playing the sport.

I have played tournament golf for many years and loved it! This internship will allow me to see the other side of tournament golf and also help me expand my communication skills within a workplace.

Why the IJGA Internship: I am the Sport Information Director for Miami’s golf team and I love providing our student athletes with the publicity and recognition they deserve. This internship gives me a chance to do the same for youth golfers and encourage them to continue with the sport. Additionally, I am fond of the mission of the IJGA and the opportunities it provides to juniors and am drawn to the kindness of the staff.
