Due to inclement weather, we are currently under a weather delay at Ravisloe CC. We brought the players in at 11:55 AM. Once it is safe, we will bring the players back out to resume play. At that time we will send another email updating parents who are not here on the length of the delay.
UPDATE AS OF 1:40PM 7/29/16: We are still under a weather delay at Ravisloe CC for Sectional #15. There is still inclement weather in the area and the course currently not fit for play. We will make our final evaluation at 2:30 PM. At that point, if it looks like there is a good chance we can get players back on the golf course, we will do so. If not, we will call the event and make the event a 9-hole contest. If we are able to resume play or decide if we are definitely going to cancel play prior to 2:30 PM, we will do so and notify you with another email.
UPDATE AS OF 2:30PM 7/29/16: Due to inclement weather and unplayable course conditions, Sectional #15 at Ravisloe CC was cancelled. All players in the Senior Boys, Junior Boys and Senior Girls were able to complete 9-holes. Due to our policy, since they completed 9 holes, it is considered a complete and official event. Trophies were already awarded and points will be awarded as well. We are working with the Ravisloe CC staff to determine what the IJGA will pay to Ravisloe CC, and from that, we will be able to determine the credit issued to the divisions. Please understand that the IJGA will make every effort to make sure the credit issued is as much as we possibly can, and it may be different based on the division that you are in.
