As the IJGA prepares the 2025 schedule, we wanted to make you aware of new changes before you sign up for IJGA membership. IJGA membership will open on November 14th at 10 AM. To find out more information about membership types, please follow the link below. Several emails similar to this one will go out over the course of the next few months to educate and help prepare members when tournaments open.
2025 IJGA Membership Information
Current schedules can be found on our website under their respective program tabs and these will be updated daily. Tournament information pages will be live in January.
- Medinah Country Shrine Junior Invitational Criteria
- The criteria for the Medinah Country Shrine Junior Invitational have been updated and is reflected in the links below.
- Playing Member 9 Hole Membership (Ages 14-18)
- In 2025, the IJGA will be offering a 9 Hole Membership for the Playing Member Division in effort to provide newer players a start in competitive golf. This will give the member access to 10-12 tournaments throughout the summer. This membership level will cost $50 and will include a CDGA Handicap and Youth on Course Membership. Members will be able to sign up for tournaments on February 25th. Basic Members and Elite Members will have access to these 9 hole events as well on February 25th.

- Players Challenges and MAJGT Tournaments
- For Players Challenges and MAJGT tournaments, there will be handicap requirements in order to initially sign up for events starting February 11th. The PM Boys Division (Ages 14-18) and MAJGT Boys Division (Ages 12-18) will require a handicap of 18.0 or lower while the PM Girls Division (Ages 14-18) and MAJGT Girls Division (Ages 12-18) will require a handicap of 25.0 or lower. On February 25th, players that do not meet these requirements will be able to sign up for the event or add themselves to the waitlist. When you register for 2025 Membership, please remember to update your handicap in your bluegolf account.

- Playing Member Shot Limit Policy
- Similar to the Youth Development Program, the Playing Member Division will be instituting a shot limit policy at single day events to help with pace of play during tournaments. After a player has hit 7 shots without reaching the green, the player will pick up their ball and move it onto the nearest point on the green to putt out from there.

- 8–11-Year-Old Membership
- Two memberships will be available for members aged 8-11 (Basic Membership and Elite Membership). Both Basic and Elite membership will include a CDGA Handicap and Youth on Course Membership.
